This weekend we went on our annual Vegas trip with our good friends Jeff and Sandra. We go every year in December and go to the National Finals Rodeo. We had alot of fun, although Vegas is very different when you are 7 months pregnant. Jaden was very strict on me, making sure I rested enough and got enough water. He was so sweet. We stayed at NYNY and had a GREAT room. We were on the 32nd floor and facing the strip. Our room was on the corner so we had windows not only in front but on the sides too. It was really beautiful.

I do have to talk about our flight home. It was like something out of a bad movie. First, we went to grab a bit to eat and while we were gone, the flight boarded early. We were some of the last ones on the plane. So much for A boarding group. We sat in the very back. Jaden was on the isle of a full row and I was right across from him on the isle of a row with a man in the window seat who took up a seat and a half. Then a few more people got on the plane (full plane) and a lady sat between us. She wasn't small. So I ended up leaning half into the isle. The lady next to me kept falling asleep and leaning over on to me. I though she was gonna lay her head on my shoulder. Then the plane took off under a wind advisory in Vegas. You ever thrown up in one of those bags? I have. It was so nasty. They wouldn't let us get up to go to the bathroom so I leaned into the isle and puked in to the bag. A few times. Then had to hold the puke bag for the remainder of the flight. Yeah, it was bad, for all involved. It is kinda funny, looking back.

Just Talking

Can I just say that I LOVE the holidays! I love everything about them! I came home from work today and my sweet husband had gotten the Christmas decorations out of the attic and put up the Christmas tree to suprise me. I was so happy. My cat loves the tree too! She likes to get in it and climb about 3/4 way up and just purch. She is so little, she doesn't tip it or anything. She gets in trouble when she does it-then I get in trouble because, instead of yelling at her- I take pictures of her in her purch. It is so cute! I am feeling so much better and am so excited to eat alot tomorrow. We still haven't decided on a middle name but ya'll had some great ideas! We are narrowing it down. We will hopefully get a 3D sono soon so I will post those pics when we get one. My belly is getting so big. Jaden loves rubbing it. He also loves putting his finger in my ever shortening belly button. It makes me giggle like the pillsbury dough boy. Mia moves all over the place. She doesn't just move around, she flips! I fully expect her to come out and do flips on the floor of the hospital. We are looking for a good video camera so if anyone has a camera you love, I'd love to hear about it!

Bad Blogger

I know, I know - I'm a bad blogger! I wish I could say that we have been so busy that I haven't had time to write, but it would be a lie. I wish I could say that we just haven't had any news to share...but again, lie. In fact, we have big news. Big, big news. I was kind of waiting until I could scan in the sono pics but I have never gotten around to it so you will just have to take my word for it without any pics.

It is a GIRL!

I know we had said we kinda wanted a boy but now we couldn't be happier that we are having a baby girl. She is already a charmer. She was moving and posing for the camera last time we had a sono. It was so cute! After much deliberation, we have decided on a first name - Mia. We think it is so sweet. But this is where we need your help. We cannot decide on a middle name! We are open for ANY sugestions. We've got nothing!

Introducing....Baby Boren

Well, here is the sono pic. We may be partial, but we think it is already very cute! By the way, thanks to all of you for the sweet comments. We have the best friends in the world!

We got another sonogram (thank you aunt Shauna, we love you). We were trying to see the sex but the baby was being modest. It was having a great time-jumping and moving all around in there. It looked like so much fun. It was sooo cute. We already love the little tike so much! We just can't wait to call the baby "he" or "she" instead of "it". We are trying to figure out how to get the sono pics on the computer. But for now, we will give you the view from the outside. Ladies and gentlemen......the baby bump.

Baby Daddy

I just want to take a minute to brag on my baby daddy (aka: my husband). He is so wonderful. I have been pretty sick...and lazy....ok, and moody. He has been so great. He cooks, he cleans, he brushes my hair (sorry if that embarrased you babe). He is always asking me if I would like some juice or water or a snack. He does internet research to make sure things are safe for me and the baby. He lets me sleep in on the weekends as late as I want. He tells me I look sexy even though I know I probably just look fat. He kisses my belly all the time which makes me want to cry. But most of all, I know he loves us so much. And he is going to be such an amazing dad. Being pregnant really has a way of bringing out the insecurities you have about being a good mother. I pray that I will be a good mom and know the right things to do and say. But, I have no doubt about Jaden. He is going to be such an awesome dad. I have always known he is going to be a great dad. Even when we were dating, I knew that he would make a wonder father to our children. (yes, I have been planning this time in our lives for a while). This is one of the MANY reasons I love him so so much. I am so blessed!

HELLO!

Well, we finally decided to get a blogspot. I was begining to feel like a weird stalker because I love to look at other people's blogs but didn't have my own. But the main reason? We are PREGNANT! We are so happy and this is a fun way to share this exciting time in our lives. We are 13 weeks along and due in mid March. We don't have any pics to share yet because my belly isn't cute yet-I just look bloated. I have been pretty sick but I know that better times are just around the corner! (hopefully) We plan to find out what the baby is. We would love a boy (Jaden's family doesn't have any boys so the pressure is on) but really-we just want a healthy baby.

So, thanks for sharing this time with us! There will be more posts to come. Also, I'm not sure how all of you other bloggers have made your blogs so cute, but I am willing to take any tips.
